About ICT Resource Center
The Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2014 for establishment of ICT Resource Center at The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST). The implemented agency for the project on behalf of the Government of the Republic of India was the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC). The ICT Resource Center was officially launched on 18th July 2016 by then Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako, Minister for Education, Science and Technology in Tanzania.
In ICT Resource Center the following facilities have been provided: technical expertise packages for the creation of the IT infrastructure for the ICT Resource Center, Secure Networking, Campus Wide Wireless Network, ICT Testing Laboratory, E-Learning Studies, E-Learning Management System. Super Computer PARAM Kilimanjaro with HPC Applications.
